Finealt Bioeconomy Private Limited is a company owned by the Government of Zimbabwe under the Ministry of Higher Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development , focused on researching, developing, and producing bioeconomy products for local and global markets.
The company manufactures biodiesel, soap, cooking oil, detergents and sanitizer. The company operates under five key divisions which are Bioeconomy Feedstock Production, Industrial Production, Technical Services, Innovation Research and Development, and Finance and Administration. It has four operational centers which are Mt Hampden Biodiesel, Mutoko Bioeconomy Industrial Park, Nyakadecha Estate, and Chigori Station, each specializing in different aspects of production.
To boost feedstock supply and empower rural communities, Finealt runs outgrower schemes for sunflower, castorbean and jatropha. The company’s vision includes establishing Rural Industrial Parks in all eight provinces, wholesale centers at growth points and marketing franchises in 6000 townships. It operations drive rural industrialization, aligning with Zimbabwe’s vision policy to economic growth and sustainability.
